This page describes what Zyptr collects when you use Diner, why, and what we will not do with it. If anything here is unclear, email support@zyptr.com and we will answer plainly.
What we collect
- Account details — the name, email and phone number of the people you give access to, so they can sign in and we can reach you.
- Business records — your menu, orders, bills and GST registrations. This is the data the product exists to hold.
- Operational logs — errors and request traces, kept short-term so we can find out why something broke.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, or your diners’ data, to anybody.
- We do not use your sales figures to advertise to you or anyone else.
- We do not share records between tenants — each account is isolated.
Where it lives
Your records are stored in a database schema dedicated to your organisation, not mixed into shared tables. Access is restricted to the staff you authorise and to the small number of our engineers who maintain the service.
Getting it back, or getting it deleted
You can export your sales, bills and GST register at any time, at no cost. If you close your account, ask us to delete your data and we will — subject to any retention period Indian tax law requires us to observe for invoice records.
