Terms of service
Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Diner, operated by Zyptr. Using the service means you accept them.
Your account
You are responsible for who you give access to and for what they do with it. Give each member of staff their own login — shared logins make the audit trail worthless, which is the one thing you will want when a figure looks wrong.
Billing
- Plans are charged per branch, per month, in advance, excluding GST.
- There is no minimum term. Cancel and the service runs to the paid period’s end.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice before changing a price.
Your data
Your records remain yours. We process them to run the service and for nothing else. You can export them whenever you like, including on the way out.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously and will schedule maintenance outside typical meal services where we can. We cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we do not accept liability for lost profits arising from an outage. Keep a fallback for taking orders on paper — every restaurant should.
Compliance is shared
Diner computes tax from the rates and registrations you configure, and keeps the invoice sequence gapless. Making sure those rates and GSTINs are correct for your business is yours — we provide the mechanism, not tax advice.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to issue invoices that misrepresent a transaction, or to attempt to reach another tenant’s data. We may suspend an account that does.
